Wolverhampton's 107.7 The Wolf celebrated it's TENTH birthday on 7th October 2007! Yes, that's right, the radio station has been broadcasting to the City and it's surrounding area's since 7th October 1997! Here's to the next ten years!

We help support many local charities by giving them free onair publicity for their fundraising events. These include:

MacMillan Cancer Support
Compton Hospice
The County Air Amubulance
The Beacon Centre for the Blind
Promise Dreams
The Disabled and Abled Bodied Society,
The Haven,
Jericho House,
New Cross Hospital Children's Ward
plus many others.

We also pride ourselves in directly making a difference in our community with our appeals across the year. These include:

Bring a Pound to Work Day raises Thousands of Pounds for MacMillan Cancer Support.

Operation Christmas was a huge success at the end of 2007. Again we delivered 100's of Christmas Presents to needy families in and around our city.

We completed Operation Easter last year, which, with thanks to the Mander Shopping Centre, Lindt, Cadbury and the loyal listeners of our radio Station, we collected over 1,000 Easter eggs which were distributed to underprivileged children in and around the Wolverhampton area. Keep listening for details of Operation Easter 2008 coming soon!

Operation Christmas 2007 was a success thanks to Paycare and Waitrose and YOU! Thanks for your support!
