My name's Tom Campbell and I'm waking up Wolverhampton on 107.7 The Wolf. My mum always said she wanted me out of the house as soon as possible...so it makes sense that I now make a living by starting work at six every morning. I feel like I might have missed the point though.
Originally I'm from Worcestershire, born and raised in Worcester. Now I make my home at the Campbell Cottage in Wolverhampton - mainly because the shopping (Mander Centre, Beatties and Le Monde) and the pubs are a million times better than Shrewsbury (don't tell Auntie Belinda I said that, she'll go mental!)
For as long as I've remember I wanted to get into the world of radio. I love a good chin-wag about the events of the day, and I am a complete and utter music geek. Couple this with the chance to come into work in my pyjamas and have NOBODY bat an eyelid, I was sold on a career on the wireless. Plus, it's a great way to let my mum know what I've been up to...I'm quite useless with texting back.
I hope you'll join me for Brekkie on a morning. We play great music, keep you up to date with the important stuff and I'll ask for your advice on some of the big problems of the day. Like "what colour socks are the luckiest?" and "who would win in a fight between the Detroit Spinners and the Detroit Emeralds?"
My hobbies include computer games, eating biscuits and kicking my football into Alan Nicklin's garden.
